When we’re trying to become the best version of ourselves, we’ll constantly get advice on all the things we should be doing to get there.

But what about all the stuff we need to stop doing?

Bad habits and behaviours can be completely counter-productive to the good habits we adopt.

With that being said, here are a list of all the things you need to stop doing now in order to become the best version of you.

1. Don’t drive if you can walk the distance.

2. Don’t watch mindless television.

3. Don’t get into debt and pay off existing ones.

4. Don’t eat fast food.

5. Don’t avoid reading, read at least 1 book a month.

6. Don’t work in a job that only pays you enough to survive. Work to live.

7. Don’t buy anything on finance.

8. Don’t hit the snooze button.

9. Stop eating processed foods. Know the source of your food.

10. Don’t drink soda.

11. Don’t smoke.

12. Don’t do drugs.

13. Don’t drink as much alcohol, try to avoid getting ‘drunk’ altogether.

14. Don’t eat foods with high sugar content.

15. Don’t slouch. Sit and stand in the correct posture.

16. Don’t avoid eye contact.

17. Don’t put off learning or taking courses. Do them now.

18. Don’t drink more that one small glass of (non-concentrate) fruit juice a day. Don’t touch anything ‘from-concentrate’.
