The World’s Best Universities to Study Business & Management

QS World University rankings releases it’s annual university rankings, broken down by subject and region. The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2016, highlight the world’s top universities in 42 subjects, based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact (full methodology here).

One of the filter options is for the top universities for business & management studies. Many Universities across the world battle it out for that top spot and some of the biggest names in academia are listed here. It’s a handy guide if you want to know the best University to get your business degree or if you’re curious to see how your existing one stands up against the competition.

These types of rankings are used by some of the top employers around the world when hiring, to determine points based on where study took place, so it’s important to see where you appear on this listing.

The rankings also list Universities as a whole as well as by subject leader. At the very top, the tables are dominated by US higher education heavyweights Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University, each of which claims the number one spot in 12 subjects. UK universities come first in eight subjects, while the Netherlands, Hong Kong and Switzerland each claim one top spot. A total of 16 universities claim at least one number one position.
